I imagine what it would be like to talk to Joe Biden, as an astrologer
but first, let me cleanse myself from reading Trump’s chart
Intro
I’ll be honest here, I was a bit hesitant to read the chart of Biden right after reading Trump’s yesterday. Trump, with all his flaws, remains a sensational character. It’s no wonder traders love him — he has a knack for making markets move. They thrive on the volatility and uncertainty he brings.
Biden on the other hand, is a pretty straightforward guy. He isn’t making news with all sorts of provocative headlines. He set out in the world, dabbling in law in university, before making the full transit into a dedicated path as a politician. He is a career politician, meaning that he has spent a significant portion of his professional life engaged in political activities, and holding elected or appointed positions within government institutions. Compare this to Trump, whose background was primarily in business and entertainment rather than traditional political roles.
Biden came from a modest background. If this was back in the day, this would be a David vs Goliath story. Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth — he inherited his entire family business and had a mega Trump empire at his feet. This dichotomy between their beginnings underscores the different paths they took in their respective careers and the varying perspectives they bring to the political arena.
I needed a day of break in between reading both of these guys. The contrasts were too jarring. I’m back today, and revisiting Biden’s chart today with fresh eyes, and I take back what I said earlier — Biden isn’t a simple, clean read. Oh, no. His chart has several, less obvious indicators that were just waiting for me to discern with a more perceptive eye.
I imagine yet again, what it would be like and how it would go to talk to Joe Biden, as an astrologer. Let’s change the setting a bit this time, because I need to sage and cleanse myself off that Trump energy in my New York office and change the scenery a little bit. I now picture myself being invited to a prestigious private club in Delaware, his home town, where Biden is a member or has connections. These clubs often offer a high level of privacy and security, making them suitable for meetings or socializing with VIPs. Either that, or we’re hanging out in the White House, in Washington D.C., with my visit passing maximum security clearance. I haven’t decided where we’re going yet, but for the sake of this article, let’s pretend we’re going to Washington.
He invites me to have a chat with him, as an attending host dishes out two coasters and promptly places our drinks on them. Mine is a Sparkling Berry Lemonade — freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed with a triple berry puree (strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries), topped with sparkling water. It is served in a fancy glass worthy of the White House, with artisanal ice and a fancy lemon twist that elegantly cascades down the side of the glass.
Now that I’m mentioning this, I also happen to imagine that I am wearing one of my finest dresses — an ivory flutter-sleeve dress, designer, with a tie sash around my waist. Made of an expensive silk blend, this dress drapes down to my ankles, exuding some class and elegance with every step. I am channeling my inner Greecian Goddess. I pair this with nude heeled stilettos, and simple diamond jewelry. I am about to meet the current president of the United States. I want to look my best!
Meanwhile, Biden has gotten for himself a Pineapple Coconut Mocktail — a blend of pineapple juice, coconut milk, and a splash of lime juice with smooth, artisanal ice. In the art of charm, whenever someone is in a position of power, it will be in their best interest to order down when dining or engaging with others. His casual drink of tropical fruits creates a more relaxed atmosphere for us, encouraging my open communication and rapport-building with him. I would like to believe that Biden is quite charming, and so this is what I imagine him to be drinking.
His drink is served in a patterned glass and garnished with a pineapple wedge and a cherry. As I am not drinking alcohol, the President graciously respects my choice and follows suit. I am his guest at the White House/VIP Lounge, after all. I take note of his choice of drink, and appreciate his efforts in making me feel at ease.
I would imagine Biden to be rocking up in this meeting wearing a classic blue pullover layered over a crisp white collared shirt, with the collar subtly peeking out, adding a touch of refinement. He looks like a simple, modest guy. Paired with dark pants and shoes, his outfit reflects his down-to-earth, professional demeanor.
As we take delight in our drink, I begin the consult.
The Consult
Biden’s chart
It is an honor to meet you today, sir! Thank you for everything you’ve done for your country. While I’m not American, I am deeply aware of the impact your leadership has globally. Your dedication to public service and commitment to addressing pressing issues Americans have today have inspired many, transcending even borders. I am very grateful for the opportunity to engage with you today.
Just to walk you through things first, I have developed my own step-by-step process over the years, refining it continuously to reach its most current optimal state. I still follow this method as it has proven effective and remains a cornerstone of my approach to reading astrology charts, even till today.
I’ll begin with your Big 3 — Sun, Moon, Rising, and then move on to anything interesting I see, like major aspect patterns, critical degrees, stelliums, aspects to the nodes or angular houses. It so happens that, in your chart, you happen to have all of these juicy things to pick from and unpack!
Now let’s talk about your chart and dive right in shall we?
You have a Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Taurus, and Sagittarius Rising. This reads to me — ultimate resiliency rockstar. You’ve got a heart of gold and eyes set on the stars!
Why do I say that? Your Scorpio Sun gives you that unbeatable resilience to survive — no, thrive — on whatever crisis life has put you through, and I know you’ve been through a lot. No matter the knockouts life throws at you, you punch back even stronger and more determined than ever. Challenges? You’ll face them head-on and emerge victorious every time.
Next, your Moon in Taurus tells me you bring a whole lot of dependability to the table. You’re the friend, partner, dad and leader everyone can count on — the shoulder to lean on in tough times. With you, people know they’ve got someone rock-solid in their corner, no matter what.
And then there’s your Sagittarius Rising, adding a splash of optimism and endless possibilities. Despite shouldering the weight of the world and life’s challenges, you always approach life with a bright optimism, looking ahead, and eager to explore new horizons. I understand this, because I have Sagi placements myself. You chase after your dreams with unbridled enthusiasm, as if life never knocks you down.
Put it all together, and you’re a force to be reckoned with — resilient, dependable, and endlessly optimistic about the bright horizons ahead!
Biden smiles as he understands and processes what I’m saying. He listens intently without interrupting me.
Now, something really cool I noticed about your Moon placement is that it is at a critical degree, at 0 degrees Taurus. This carries special significance, because it indicates a fresh start, a new cycle, that you are meant to carry out in this lifetime. You might have noticed that you exhibit a strong inclination towards building security, enjoying life’s simple pleasures, and pursuing your material and emotional needs with steadfastness and perseverance. Not only that, you bring that energy into your leadership, influencing every decision you make for the American people. You’re not keeping all that goodness to yourself and rightfully so — it’s not just about politics for you, but about making life better for everyone.
Next, I notice that you have what’s called a Grand Square/Grand Cross in your chart. Not only that, 2 sides of the square are formed by your North and South Node, and that can be intense. Even more so, they are forming in your Cardinal houses, which form the important corner stones of anyone’s life. Now that is some something right there to unpack. Let’s go over them in order.
How a Grand Square normally manifests is through the feeling of some internal tug-of-war in different areas in your life, all happening at the same time. While you’re dealing with balancing your public image and career growth, it also feels like you’re constantly managing some kind of change and fluctuation in your personal relationships, all while trying to break free from old family patterns, while thinking about your own self-image and how impressions you give off to people whenever you do a meet and greet.
While I know you do try to come off optimistic and cheerful like life’s all rosy, the truth is, you do need to confront and release old patterns related to escapism or victimhood from your personal family life (South Node in Pisces 4H). I’m sorry you had to deal with many turbulent events in the course of your lifetime. I understand that it can feel like you are being overwhelmed by circumstances beyond your control.
(In case you didn’t know, it’s true that Joe Biden has faced a series of deeply personal tragedies throughout his life, which have undoubtedly shaped his character and resilience. These experiences have included the devastating loss of his wife and infant daughter in a car accident shortly after he was first sworn into the Senate, as well as the later loss of his younger son Beau to cancer. These tragedies have been accompanied by the challenges of raising his surviving son, Hunter, who turned out to be a real bitch, a story for another time)
At this point, Biden might start to look a bit teary, but he doesn’t cry. He tries to appear manly. I continue –
It’s okay to recognize the challenges you’ve faced and to work towards healing and moving forward from them. Remember that acknowledging and addressing them is essential towards creating a brighter and more fulfilling future, and the American people thank you for that.
Your journey of growth transcends into your career in the political spotlight. The focus on your career and public image will always be intertwined with themes of healing and learning from past wounds. (North Node cj Chiron in 10H, with migration) Your experiences of criticism or failure in the public eye, or any other challenges you faced while striving for success, instead of letting them hold you back, you acknowledge, learn from, and then use them as sources of strength and wisdom.
Finally, in your partnerships, there is this oscillating desire between change and stability. This energy is foreign to me, and I do wonder how does that plays out for you, but you can tell me later.
Not only that, this conjunction trines Neptune, the planet of illusion or delusion. This tells me that there is some rose-coloured glasses that you put on in relation to your partner. That can be a good and bad thing, nothing serious, just take note of it. And hey, look! Another critical degree here — 0 deg Neptune in Libra. There is this romanticized view of partnerships, almost like you’re seeking an ephemeral soulmate connection. This also tells me that you can be compassionate and empathetic, and likely to find that in a partner.
Now let’s talk about that amazing Scorpio stellium right there in the 12H shall we? I’m excited to dive into this with you, because we’ve got similar placements! Despite all the trash talk about the 12H, I want to assure you that you shouldn’t be afraid of it. In fact, that’s where you draw your personal power. The 12H is like a dark oasis, a private, secret treasure chest, full of privileged knowledge that is off-limits to the eyes of the prying world.
You have 4 major planets here, your Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. These are all personal planets, bundled up in the sign of Scorpio. There is a strong emphasis on developing your inner world, your hidden strengths. Scorpio energy is intense, powerful, regenerative, and remember what I said earlier about resiliency? You can do well in a crisis, an emerge unfazed. You’re not afraid to confront the depths of your being and emerge transformed. You are not afraid to explore taboo or dark subjects. (Sun-Merc Scorpio)
Next, your Mars is in its domicile home placement. This adds an extra dose of determination and power to your actions. You’re fiercely determined and not afraid to fight for what you believe in. Doesn’t that sound like you, sir?
And while your Venus is in a “traditionally limited” placement, (Venus Scorp detriment), and your idea of love isn’t as simple as sunshine and rainbows, your approach to relationships require depth and devotion. You’ll only acknowledge devout and utter loyalty, and you won’t accept anything less. You desire a magnetic and intimate connection and are not afraid of the deeper layers they can reveal. Where others may fear to tread, you bring courage, you know that its within the shadows that true intimacy and transformation reside.
That being said, I want to remind you of your Ura-Sat combo in the 7H, because you do tend to embrace the new while honouring the tried-and-true, as you seek to build fulfilling and authentic connections with others.
By now, I have been talking for about 30 minutes. I take a few gulps of my drink, and I am almost at the end of my glass. Biden does the same. The attending hostess takes my glass away and comes back shortly, with a fresh new glass of the same drink. She does the same for him.
We pause the reading for a while, and enter some brief chit chat and small talk. He probably tells me about his kids and his wife (or ex-wife and kids who passed), since I touched on those topics earlier.
Then, to make the most of the time we have left (he is a busy man afterall, being POTUS and running for the upcoming elections), I continue –
Now, let’s look at your upcoming transits shall we?

As I end the reading and finish our second drink of the afternoon, Biden and I take a few moments to process what I’ve just said. I close off the reading by saying my parting words –
While nothing is certain, the transits indicate that you’ve got a lot of positive momentum on your side. Keep your spirits up and stay focused on your goals. Regardless of the outcome, know that you’ve run a strong campaign and made a significant impact. Whatever happens, the American people and myself will be here to support you every step of the way.
Biden might take some interest and ask me some questions about my life, my postgrad studies, my family, and other things, but he is mostly processing in the back of his mind, what I have said to him for the past hour and half.
Finally, it is time to go, we stand up and shake hands, and a security personnel escorts us both out.
I leave the White House ecstatic that I met the POTUS, for this is a hallmark meeting indeed, a story that I will pass on for generations.
I wish him and America all the best with the upcoming elections.
