Understanding astrology is like discovering life’s secret playbook. It illuminates paths to opportunities and gives you a strategic edge.
Here, I’ll share my astrological forecast for 2024, giving you ideas to craft out a year that aligns with your highest ideal vision.
✅ Check List of Major Things to look out for
1. Solar/Lunar Eclipse
The annual solar and lunar eclipses, are like supercharged full or New Moons, brimming with unyielding force and intense energy. During these periods, typically in March/April and September/October, is really a time to retreat and observe quietly while respecting the power these events hold.
Lunar eclipse 25 Mar (Aries/Libra eclipse) relationships and relating me vs you for the most part, 17 Sep (Virgo/Pisces eclipse) collective suffering and healing
Solar eclipse 8 Apr (Aries eclipse), 2 Oct (Libra eclipse)
2. Retrogrades
Mercury, Venus and Mars, the famous retrogrades that have the planets appear to be moving backwards in the sky. A time of re-evaluation, regression, or retreat. Usually lasts a few few weeks, not unlike last year’s out of character Mars in Gemini retrograde that lasted 7 months.
Mercury goes direct again 1 Jan 2024 Capricorn & Sagittarius
Retrogrades 1 April in Aries, goes direct 25 April
Retrogrades 5 Aug in Leo, goes direct 28 Aug
Retrogrades 25 Nov in Sagittarius, goes direct 15 Dec
It’s a year of Fire sign Mercury retrogrades! What does it mean? The retrogrades will be coloured by fiery qualities, revisiting and reassessing our energies in ways that involve action, expression and taking initiative.
Mars retrograde 6 Dec 2024 — End of the year till Feb 23 2025, so I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Things will start to move slower and taking action feels like it doesn’t come as naturally or easily. Expect frustration and pent up anger.
No Venus retrogrades in 2024.
Saturn in Pisces goes retrograde 30 Jun and goes direct back on 14 Nov.
3. Social Planet changing signs or transits
Jupiter and Saturn are benefics and malefics, that either multiply or subtract from the energy of an inner planet or luminary.
Jupiter changes signs to Gemini 25 May 2024 will remain til June 9 2025
Saturn remains in Pisces till 2025
4. Karmic outer planet changing signs or transits
Uranus, Neptune and Pluto changing sign or transiting a significant personal planet or luminary poses for interesting changes in energy and world dynamics.
No major ingresses for Uranus and Neptune till 2025
Pluto finally moves into Aquarius 21 Jan 2024 (or 20 Jan depending where you are in the world) IMO this is the most significant transit of the year.
This is where the world as a collective will experience transformation, especially in the areas of technology innovation and advancements (hello, AI!), emphasizing collective change, and a push towards more progressive, humanitarian ideals (community-based structures, bringing power back to the people). It’s a time when previous societal structures and our current norms will be deeply questioned and reformed.
The last time Pluto was in Aquarius and Jupiter was in Gemini was during the French and American Revolution. The world as we know it will see a massive, seismic change.
5. Lunations
Full/New Moons that happen twice a month, unless of course, if it comes in threes, it’s once in a blue moon. Lunations progress and moon waxes or wanes with accordance to its natural cycles.
Standard cycles progress through the year.
6. Sun sign ingressions
Dominant sun sign of the month is usually what we’re most familiar with. November for Scorpios, February for Pisces and so on.
Standard cycles progress through the year.
7. Cazimis
Cazimis are like cute little potent pockets of energy in the sky. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, take it like a supercharge powerup day. I wouldn’t waste a good cazimi!
Mercury cazimi — clarity of thought, enhanced communication, and important insights, especially in trade, travel, and technology
28 Feb, 12 Apr, 15 Jun, 19 Aug, 1 Oct, 6 Dec
Venus cazimi — the focus shifts to relationships, beauty, and finance. generally favourable for initiating new intentions in relationships, artistic projects, or financial investments.
4 Jun
Jupiter cazimi — also known as the luckiest day of the year, it favours expansion, growth, and good fortune in wherever Jupiter falls in your chart. It’s an auspicious time for educational pursuits, travel, and philosophical explorations.
19 May
I personally love Jupiter cazimis. Last year, it ended up with me exploring the Watskins esoteric bookstore in London! A very Jupiter 12H cazimi day for me.
Saturn cazimi — a focus on structure, discipline, and responsibility. A time for setting long-term goals and commitments, depending on where Saturn is in your chart.
29 Feb
This is 2 weeks after Valentine’s day y’all. A major HINT.
8. Standout aspects
So many significant alignments between Venus and the other planets that influence various areas of life, each with its unique character and impact. Each aspects (looking mainly at conjunctions, oppositions and squares) carries a different type of energy and potential for growth, challenge, or ease.
I look at Venus aspects because it represents love, beauty, and finances, followed by Mars aspects to show where aggression and energy is being directed.

Now let’s get into the calendar details!
Please note that dates are read for the GMT+8 timezone. If you’re in the western hemisphere of the world I would subtract the difference of one day from my dates. Also taking into account daylight savings towards April-October. All data has been compiled by me.
January — A Catalystic shift towards community and tech
Dominant sun sign of the month is Capricorn, before moving into Aquarius 20 Jan. New Moon in Capricorn 11 Jan. Full Moon in Leo 26 Jan. A majority of this month is focused on goals and professional ambitions. In true Capricorn fashion, building discipline is key for this month. Later in the month, the focus shifts towards innovation and community-centricness. Aquarius brings a more progressive, forward-thinking energy, encouraging originality and collective awareness that lead the way into February.
On a world events level, overconfidence from global leaders and politicians lead to ambitious but possibly misguided projects. Throughout the month, key news and events will heavily influence the world’s collective direction.
🔔 Standouts?
Yes! A Major planet ingression coming. Pluto moves into Aquarius for real this time on 21 January 2024. It will retrograde again before fully staying in that position from 19 Nov onwards. IMO this is the most important transit of the entire year.
Anticipate significant advancements in technology and science, leading to greater awareness and progression in communities and societies. Bringing the power back to the people. Less focus on individual idolism and more towards the collective and “what the people want”.
Recommendations — Consider investing time/resources into scientific and technology developments that shape our future. Educate yourself on contemporary concepts in community and societal structures. Work towards finding a harmonious balance between personal interests and community welfare.
Last year’s Pluto ingression into Aquarius marked a paradigm shift into the world of AI, but not before a brief moment of Pluto decided to end its “free trial in Aquarius period” going retrograde back into Capricorn for 3 months that led to some fallout in interest in AI during this time.
Keep a lookout, however, because Pluto took that time-off to decide, and it is committing to its large purchase into Aquarius and deciding to fully move into this sign for the next 20 years, marking the start of a new generation (kids born after 2024 will be Generation Beta. I know, who comes up with these names?!)
The Next Generation Born
This means that the next generation of babies born during the next 20 years will also have Pluto in Aquarius, marked by a strong desire for innovation, rebellion, and social change around groups. They may be more open to trying new things and taking risks, and they may be more independent and innovative in their thinking and approaches to problem-solving. They will grow up natively with tech and AI already seamlessly integrated into their daily routines and activities. This increased efficiency and convenience presents new experiences and opportunities in virtually every facet of life.
February — Healing and Innovation
Dominant sun sign is in Aquarius before moving into Pisces 19 Feb. New Moon in Aquarius 10 Feb. Full Moon in Virgo 24 Feb. This month’s energies invite innovation and empathy, while also grounding us in what can be done that is both practical and usable.
🔔 Standouts?
Yes! Mercury and Saturn cazimis happens this month on 28 Feb and 29 Feb respectively. It’s a great day to communicate thoughts and be very clear with words. It’s a time for setting serious long-term goals, making commitments.
This blend of energies simultaneously over 2 days shows a strong focus on disciplined thinking, where serious, structured thought processes are favored over decisions made in haste.
🔎 Aspects
Venus-Mars-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius happens 17 Feb. Significant changes in how relationships are approached, with a focus on freedom, equality, and unconventional dynamics. Passionate advocacy for ideals for humanitarian causes or social justice. Deep emotional undercurrents are expressed in innovative or unorthodox ways.
Mars-Jupiter square 27 Feb. A push to grow beyond your comfort zone. Pursuing goals requires courage and foresight. Be aware of potential overestimation of abilities and resources.
March — Global calls for balance
Dominant sun sign is Pisces before moving into Aries on 20 Mar. New Moon in Pisces on 10 Mar. Full Moon in Libra on 25 Mar. A shift from the introspective, empathetic energy of Pisces to the active, assertive energy of Aries as we begin a new cycle of the 12 astrological signs. It’s a transition from inner reflection to proactive action, with an emphasis on harmony in personal connections.
🔔 Standouts?
Yes. The first Lunar Eclipse of the year happens in Libra on 25 Mar 2024.
This is a collective call for justice in some form, possibly related to issues of inequality, human rights, or international agreements. Possible indication of a pivotal moment in international relations or diplomatic negotiations. Tensions might culminate, requiring global leaders to strive for peace, balance, and fairness. Global implications could come to a climax. Decisions made during this time might have long-lasting effects.
On a socio-cultural level, this eclipse could amplify voices that champion fairness, aesthetics, or harmonious relationships. Major events related to art, culture, and public representation could occur.
🔎 Aspects

Unexpected events or revelations that challenge conventional ways of connecting or managing resources. Expect breakthroughs and breakdowns.
Mars-Uranus square happens on 10 Mar. Changes and disruptive events. Abrupt and unexpected actions. Be aware of unintended consequences that comes with making rash and impulsive decisions.
Venus-Saturn conjunction also happens on 22 Mar. So the instability earlier in the month calms down into a more serious, settled energy. There is a more committed approach to relationships when reassessments on what works and what doesn’t. The energy favors mature, responsible, and potentially long-term connections. On a world events level there is also call for a more pragmatic handling of finances and what we value collectively.
April — Bold Initiatives and Mindful Revisions
Dominant sun sign is Aries before moving into Taurus on 19 Apr. New Moon in Aries on 9 Apr. Full Moon in Scorpio on 24 Apr. The energy and vigor of Aries encourages new initiatives and bold actions, and gradually transitions into the more stable, material-focused energy of Taurus. The Full Moon in Scorpio adds a layer of emotional depth and intensity, prompting deeper understanding and transformative experiences.
🔔 Standouts?
Yes. The first Solar Eclipse of the year happens with the sun and moon in Aries on 8 Apr, representing a catalytic new ending and beginning around the themes of independence and self-assertion.
As always, the effects of a solar eclipse can be felt for several weeks or months before and after the event, known as the eclipse shadow period.
Mercury cazimi event happening on 12 April. It’s a great day for writing and having clear and insightful conversations. Happening in the sign of Aries, it’s a time to speak up, speak your mind, and open up with confidence and gusto.
Interestingly, Mercury also later goes retrograde for the first time in the year on 22 April. Mercury rules communication, information, and the exchange of ideas. With the added Taurusean flavour, it’s coming into issues and going back to reassess or fix things relating to the tangible matters of your estates and projects.
I’d make good use of the 10 days between the cazimi event and the retrograde event to get as much thinking and writing work done.
🔎 Aspects
Venus-Neptune conjunction 3 Apr. A great day for love as a fantasy idealism spreads like mist through the sky. A heightened sense of romance and dreaming about love. Imagination is enriched and heightened.
On a world events level this translates to calls for compassion and empathy for humanitarian energy.
Mars-Saturn conjunction 11 Apr. Limitation with taking action due to more careful thought and planning. Patience and responsibility towards goals.
On a world events level this translates to controlled, disciplined action in addressing global crises, especially those involving marginalized communities or environmental issues.
Mars-Neptune conjunction 29 Apr. Altruistic goals are formed with taking action towards humanitarian or altruistic causes. Otherwise, being unclear about motives or unrealistic goals could be a potential pitfall.
May — Harmony to Social Dynamism
Dominant sun sign is Taurus before moving into Gemini on 20 May. New Moon in Taurus on 8 May. Full Moon in Sagittarius on 23 May. Stability and growth in communication and intellectual pursuits, punctuated by lots of social interaction and connection. A spirit of adventure and a quest for expanding horizons, exploration, freedom later in the month.
🔔 Standouts?
Jupiter moves into Gemini 25 May. The amplification of intellectual pursuits with a keen eye for learning. This transit brings a focus on growth and expansion in areas related to the mind. I will not be surprised if there is huge growth and expansion in communication and social connection.
Jupiter cazimi in Taurus on 19 May. Economic growth and stability. Expanding a sense of comfort and groundedness with opportunities for material growth or enhancing personal values.
🔎 Aspects
Venus-Pluto squares Pluto 1 May. Intense dynamics to relationships or financial matters, prompting deep transformations or power struggles.
Venus-Uranus conjunction on 18 May. Sudden shifts or excitement in economics, finances, and personal values or relationships, favoring unconventional approaches.

June — Communicate and Consolidate
Dominant sun sign is Gemini before moving into Cancer on 21 June. New Moon in Gemini on 6 June. Full Moon in Capricorn on 22 June. The focus on social interactions and the pursuit of the curious bug continues into this month. Versatility and dialogue is encouraged. This season is favourable for initiating communication related projects or just learning new skills. Network, network, network. Later, there is culmination towards these ideas and a call to bring structure to your goals is set out.
🔔 Standouts?
2 cazimis happening in the sky this month. We’ve got the Venus cazimi happening on 4 June and the Mercury cazimi happening on 15 June. During each of these days, I would really shift the focus to relationships/values or artistic/financial projects, and thought and communication respectively on those days.
Saturn in Pisces goes retrograde on 30 Jun. In true retrograde fashion, this will be a time of re-evaluation of our boundaries and responsibilities. Pisces deals with surrender and letting go, so the retrograde lesson here is learning to trust the flow and finding structure even in uncertainty. Do not be surprised if unresolved issues resurface to find a final resolution. Address them with wisdom and newfound discipline.

Understanding the undercurrents of how we make emotionally driven choices lay the groundwork to understanding ourselves and our emotional stability. Later on, there will be a call for balance between personal life and public responsibilities, fueled by a desire for wider recognition.

Later in the month, we settle into new health routines and really start to set new intentions around work and projects that require organizational planning. There is a need for freedom and expression of our unique qualities.

Mercury cazimi on 19 Aug. Clarity and insight around creative expression. An excellent time for negotiations and articulation.
🔎 Aspects

Mars-Saturn square 16 Aug. Actions and decisions require an approach that involves discipline and responsibility that carry the weight of a long-term action plan. Expect frustration, but be patient because the test will be worth it.
Venus-Neptune opposition 29 Aug. Romantic or financial disillusionment. Being aware of the rose-coloured glasses and wanting to keep them on. Idealized love and lack of clarity in finances.

Dominant sun sign is Virgo before moving into Libra on 22 Sept. New Moon in Libra on 3 Sep. Full Moon in Pisces on 18 Sep. It’s a powerful time for understanding the thread that ties humanity together and swim in the waters of greater humanistic truths.

As you know, October is always a special time with the thinning of the veil as we start to move into Fall and Winter.
🔔 Standouts?
Standouts? Yes. Solar Eclipse in Libra on 3 Oct. Important bond or partnership happening. Not necessarily romantic but a chain of events that leads to a serious union or bond. It is a time to be open to forming new connections and to understand the importance of balance and harmony in our relationships. It’s an opportune moment to forge alliances that are based on equality and mutual respect.
🔎 Aspects
Venus-Uranus opposition 15 Oct. Sudden changes or revelations in personal relationships. Independence or freedom at odds with the desire for harmony and closeness. With finances, expect potential surprises or unconventional approaches to money and possessions. This could mean sudden gains or losses, or an innovative perspective on financial management. November — Seeking clarity amidst intensity
Dominant sun sign is Scorpio before moving into Sagittarius on 22 November. New Moon in Scorpio on 1 Nov. Full Moon in Taurus on 16 Nov. A shift from understanding the shadow parts of ourselves and embracing transformation. Then Scorpio’s depth is met with the need for more simplicity, security and tangibility.
You’ll really start to feel the energy ramp up around this time in the last few months going into the holiday season and towards the end of the year.

December — Festive adventures to introspection

Unhinged festive energy begins as the busiest period for travel picks up during this time of the year, very in line with big Sagittarius adventurer energy. This period encourages exploration and expansion of our worldviews, which then transitions into more serious energy towards the end of December. The Full Moon in Gemini adds a layer of social and intellectual interactions which is typical of a full social calendar during the festive season.
🔔 Standouts?
Mars retrogrades in Leo on 6 Dec. A stifling time for retrogrades usually represent going back to reassess things. In Mars, it shows inwards action or not taking action, leading to possible pent up frustration and anger. Things tend to not move along as easily or naturally. The Leo flavour adds to the reconsideration of what makes us truly fulfilled in the pursuit of recognition and validation. Use this time to introspect instead of forcing things to move along. The universe is always on time.

A short outro
This is my list of the major significant outliers and standout aspects happening in 2024. The year ahead is a time of major change and transformation in technology, social change, and a constant balance between maintaining independence and harmony in relationships.
It’s a year where you’ll see the complete overhaul of technological advancements and scientific discoveries that will completely transform our lives for the years to come, and that’s something I’m very excited about.
We’ll see what makes us more human going forward, while adapting to new technologies and community structures. We’re letting go of outdated patterns that we leave in the era that came before.
There are many opportunities to be seen in this new light — and I’m here for it.
